MAVERICKS 101

The Dallas Mavericks suffered a familiar fate en route to a 100-98 loss in the final seconds on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers.

During a 12-0 run for the 76ers that gave them the lead for good, the Mavs committed turnovers on six consecutive possessions. Dallas now has a significant point guard problem, as Darren Collison and Dominique Jones combined for three of those turnovers in that stretch.

Dallas now falls to 7-8 overall and 2-5 on the road. Things don't get any easier as they turn around to face the Chicago Bulls tomorrow night in Chicago.

Chris Kaman led the way for Dallas with 20 points, and Elton Brand and Shawn Marion tallied 17 each, a season high for Marion.
