The Dallas Mavericks were able to tie the Memphis Grizzlies in the second half a few times, but they could never get over the hump.

The Mavs never led as they fell to the Grizzlies 92-82, Dallas' fifth loss in the past six games.

Dallas put up a respectable effort against a now 18-6 Memphis team, but the Mavs fell to 2-10 against winning teams.

It doesn't get any easier for the Mavs, as the next four opponents on the Mavs schedule are all above .500.
