With the trade deadline coming up fast and furious on Thursday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks are looking at upgrading their backup point guard position with Milwaukee Bucks guard Beno Udrih, according to ESPN's Mark Stein.
In this deal, the Mavs would give up Dahntay Jones and Rodrigue Beaubois, although this is all speculation at this point.
The Bucks could try to keep Udrih and use his expiring contract to land Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith. Udrih is averaging 6.7 points in just over 18 minutes a game this season. He has career averages of 9.1 points and 3.5 assists.
